London Remade appoints first chief executive

London Remade, formed to develop practical projects to boost recycling and composting in the capital, has appointed Hugh Carr-Harris as its first chief executive.

Currently with consultant Enviros, Mr Carr-Harris is expected to join London Remade in the spring.

Meanwhile, as reported by letsrecycle in November last year, the first of three London Waste Action projects to get off the ground could see work on a composting plant get underway this spring.

Work on the project could see Cleanaway participating in a new scheme close to an existing site.
