Lincolnshire names Dennis Eagle on £40m RCV framework

Lincolnshire county council has named Dennis Eagle as the sole supplier on a £40 million framework to “facilitate procurement” of refuse collection vehicles (RCVs) in the area.

However, if your street is missed, please put your bin out again the next working day (Monday to Friday) and it will be emptied as soon as possible.

The award notice was published last week (21 July) by Lincolnshire county council, the disposal authority for six councils in the area: Boston Borough, City of Lincoln, East Lindsey, North Kesteven, South Holland, South Kesteven and West Lindsey

Under the four year contract, the Lincolnshire collection authorities will be able to use the framework to procure RCVs quicker, with the deal also covering training for workshop fitters, drivers and loaders, and provision of parts.

Dennis Eagle will also liaise closely with the designated transport manager of each of the partners, the tender notice explains.

Running between July 2023 and May 2027, the total value of the contract has been put at £40 million. Dennis Eagle also held the previous contract.

A comment from the pair is expected soon.
