letsrecycle.com named among top business publishers

letsrecycle.com has been short-listed for a major award by the media industry, as one of the top online publishers for UK business.

The recycling and waste management sector's number one news and information source has been named by the Association of Online Publishers among five shortlisted companies in the Online Publisher (Business) category.

The winners of the AOP awards are to be unveiled at a celebratory dinner on October 4 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

Excellence
Now in their fifth year, the AOP Online Publishing Awards 2006 are designed to celebrate and reward excellence in all aspects of digital publishing and are established as a showcase of the most innovative and high-quality online content in the UK.

More than 100 entries from 46 companies across 14 categories were considered by a panel of 28 digital media experts.

Acknowledgement
Commenting on being shortlisted, letsrecycle.com commercial director Steve Dickinson said: “To have made it to the short list, where we are in the company of colleagues who were in the business for many years long before we came along, is in itself an acknowledgement of how far the letsrecycle.com team has come in achieving our original mission to be the leading provider of news and information and other services in the recycling and waste management sector.

“Winning an award would simply be the icing on the cake,” Mr Dickinson added.
