letsrecycle.com live event in switch to early summer date

letsrecycle.com live! is now to be held from 31 May – 1 June to take advantage of better weather conditions for the outdoor demonstrations and enable more up-to-the-minute debate on important new legislation.

The early Summer date – while maintaining its position as the first national event of 2006 – means that the two-day show at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry will focus on industry news as it happens.

“The government is publishing further consultations on WEEE this spring and this will be a major topic of interest at the event, as well as the draft revised Waste Strategy and developments in packaging recycling,” said show director Steve Dickinson.

“Given the importance to our audience of these issues, as well as the opportunity we were offered of a summer date, we canvassed the views of exhibitors and trade association partners and they remain unanimous in their support,” he added.

“The new date will enable us to offer our exhibitors, seminar speakers and visitors up-to-the-minute debate on the very latest legislative changes – an important issue to a medium that prides itself on being first with industry news and to letsrecycle.com Live!, which is first and foremost an information event.”

Dynamic
Re-named to reflect its parentage and with a more dynamic format to build on last year’s success, letsrecycle.com Live! returns to the Stoneleigh Park conference and exhibition centre in Warwickshire.

Confirmed reservations already ensure that this year's production will be bigger than last year. New exhibitors include Baylis Recycling, Linpac Environmental, Lloyds Environmental, PaperChain, Terra Eco Systems, Valpak and Valient Recycling.

Founding editor of the market-leading website letsrecycle.com, which now attracts 3,000 visitors per day, Steve Eminton has played a major role in putting together the seminar programme for the event, building on last year when speakers played to packed audiences.
