The app, which was made available from the iTunes App Store yesterday (September 27), presents the content delivered by the daily news website in an easy-to-read format to suit smart phone users.

At the forefront of the content made available via the letsrecycle.com ‘app' are all the day's news stories, as well the website's unique guide price information. The pricing information covers a range of materials and provides monthly updates on market movements.

In addition, the app gives readers the chance to network with waste and recycling professionals by accessing ‘clubrecycle', the UK's top recycling chat room. And, the app also comes complete with events listings for the latest major conferences and shows in the waste and recycling sector calendar.

Steve Eminton, editor of letsrecycle.com said: “We are delighted to launch this application. With the changing face of social media and constantly evolving technology, this application gives both existing and new readers the opportunity to stay in touch with the latest news wherever they are.”

To download the app – put ‘lets recycle' into the search function in the App Store / iTunes. The application is also available for use on the iPad.

The launch of the app comes one month after industry-leading magazine Resource Management & Recovery, bringing together news and features, was relaunched as an online publication at resource.co.uk (see letsrecycle.com story).
