Less than a year to ‘Letsrecycle Live’ 2021

The last Letsrecycle Live took place at Stoneleigh Park on the 22nd-23rd May 2019

With less than a year to go until Letsrecycle Live 2021, the UK’s exhibition and conference event for the waste, recycling and sustainability sector has unveiled extra show themes and expansion into a third hall.

To take place on 12-13 May 2021 at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry, the show’s organiser Environment Media Group (EMG) explained that the aim of next year’s show “is to retain the same, look, feel and atmosphere the event had for its inaugural 2019 edition and to build on its success”.

Letsrecycle Live will feature live equipment and vehicle demonstrations

Letsrecycle Live 2021 will host six sector specific zones stretching across indoor and outdoor areas. EMG says exhibition space in the collections and transport zone is now 90% sold.

Processing

The event, which was shortlisted in the Best Trade Show Launch category at the 2019 Exhibition News Indy Awards, will feature more than 100 speakers across five conference theatres, live material processing, live vehicle demonstrations and fire suppression tests as well as a range of free to attend networking events.

Show manager Ali McQueen said: “Due to high demand for space from exhibitors the 2021 event is to expand into a third hall. And, to allow more space for visitors to see equipment such as balers and street sweepers put through their paces, we are adding a further two demonstration areas.”

More than 5,000 visitors and 250 exhibitors are expected to attend the 2021 event; show organiser EMG is also the parent company of letsrecycle.com.

Energy and fuels

Mr McQueen commented: “While the show’s emphasis as ever is to be on recycling and the minimisation of waste, the 2021 edition will also see a greater focus on sustainable approaches to products, energy recovery and generation, and alternative fuels.

The event is to take place at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry

“One new zone will be for the global energy from waste and alternative fuels sector, with room for more than 40 businesses to exhibit.”

He added: “This zone will contain one of two new conference centres added to the line-up. The other, based in the plant and machinery zone, will provide practical guidance addressing topics such as baler training, lock-out systems and how to improve safety and efficiency.”

Highlights

Other highlights are to include free bookable meeting space and test drives of the latest vehicles.

The “ever-popular” Inn on the Green is to return, sponsored by safety equipment supplier Vision Techniques.

Other key sponsors include Enva, Fireward and Wastepack.
