Kiverco to install McKinstry plant as part of £16m project

Kiverco has been awarded the contract to design, manufacture and install a recycling plant for the McKinstry Group as part of a £16 million project.

The plant will be installed at the group’s facility in in Co Antrim in Northern Ireland.  

The facility is the largest and most advanced of its kind in both the UK and Ireland.   

Darren McKinstry, managing director of McKinstry Group, said: “We have been working on this project for several years now and are confident that we have found the right partner to deliver a class-leading materials recycling plant fit for the future.  

“Kiverco’s reputation within the recycling industry is unsurpassed, they are industry-renowned for manufacturing robust plant that is tough and built to last.  

“Throughout our time working together on this project, Kiverco’s determination to ensure our new recycling plant is as technologically advanced as possible, as well as meeting the key objectives of our business, has been impressive.” 

The two-year project will also see substantial investments in groundworks and the construction of a new building to house the recycling plant – both of which are already underway.  

Installation of the plant will commence in September this year with final commission planned for December 2025. 

Kiverco is based in Dungannon and has installed over 400 plants across the world.  

It has recently expanded into export markets in the Middle East and Australia.
