A 38 year-old man suffered serious head injuries, which were thought to have been caused by a falling roller door. The exact cause of death will not be known until the investigation has been completed.

Emergency services received a call at about 10pm on Friday night, and although fire crews freed the worker, he died later at a local hospital. The man was employed by Cardiff council, which owns the Lamby Way site, he has not been named.
