The 32,000 square foot facility will take in furniture from across the UK. This is then sold on at discount prices to charities, schools and small businesses.

Also housed in the warehouse is the organisation's new recycling facility, which will see unreusable office equipment turned into children's furniture.
Green Works will be running this with Cray Kids Furniture, which is supported by the Onyx Environmental Trust. A total of 60,000 was spent on the recycling machinery.
The Wembley site will run in addition to Green Works existing warehouses, which include sites in Woolwich and Wolverhampton.
Colin Crooks, chief executive of Green Works, said: “The new warehouse distributes furniture across North West London, an entirely new area for us. We have taken out a ten-year lease on the warehouse and created 12 new jobs. Already hundreds of charities, schools, community groups have benefited from the site.”
Barclay's bank
Green Work's warehouse has received a kick start with a contract signed with Barclays Bank. Under the contract around 2,500 tonnes of office furniture will be sold on or recycled through the organisation.

The contract came about after Barclays consolidated ten offices and around 5,000 staff in April at its global headquarters in Canary Wharf. When the old offices were closed, around 20% of the furniture was re-used elsewhere, with the remainder picked up by Green Works.
Martin Mosley, consumer and community affairs director at Barclays, said: “We were looking for new ways to deal with the furniture, rather than simply sending it to landfill. We contacted Green Works, which though only a relatively young organisation, has proven ability to take on jobs of this size.”
