DEFRA lists councils to benefit from recycling funds

This is the list of local authorities allocated a total of 42 million of funds by DEFRA out of the 140m National Waste Minimisation and Recycling Fund. This aims to kick start new projects.

118 million of the total will eventually go to schemes in England. The list was issued on June 25 2002 although precise figures for each council are still to be released. Group funding figures were given and are shown below.
