The council Dennis collection vehicle collided with the cars in Gull Coppice, off Yew Tree Drive in Whiteley, at 12:25pm on Monday (November 28).

Police crews and an ambulance were also in attendance.
The three refuse collection operatives were trapped in the truck and had to be cut free by the fire and rescue crews.
The workers were treated at the scene by paramedics from the South Central Ambulance service. Two of the three refuse collectors were taken to hospital to be treated for minor injuries. One worker was released from hospital on the day of the incident and the other after an overnight stay. The third worker was unharmed. The council said that no other casualties have been reported.
The men carried out kerbside household residual waste collections for Fareham BC.
Investigation
Hampshire police is currently carrying out an investigation to determine the cause of the incident. It is understood that no arrests have been made.
Fareham borough council is also conducting an enquiry however it said no information regarding the cause of the incident was available at the present time.
