Cotton nappy company wins competition to promote its reusable service

A Bedfordshire cotton nappy company has won 10,000 worth of free advertising in a competition.

Fresh Nappy Service, was chosen from 3,000 companies who entered a Yell.com competition to win 10,000 worth of radio air time to promote their business. Fresh Nappy Service was launched in Kempston in 1998 and aims to provide an alternative to disposable nappies.

Actor Richard Briers provides the voiceover for Cotton Fresh's advertisement, which tells the tale of a “Mrs Rabbit” character who helps the environment by using Cotton Fresh nappies. The advertisement will run on Chiltern FM and Horizon during April.

Trevor Jones, founder and partner of the Cotton Fresh Nappy Service, said: “We're so pleased to have won the Yell.com competition. We recognise the importance of advertising on air, having gained a strong response from a
previous radio advertising campaign. We're looking forward to hearing our new radio advertisement and hope it will increase awareness of Cotton Fresh in the Bedfordshire area.”
