Co-op and Oldham among AfOR 2011 award winners

A pioneering partnership between the Co-op and Oldham council which sees the retailer supply home compostable bags to residents was among the winners of this year's Association for Organics Recycling Awards.

The annual ceremony was held last Thursday (February 10) at the Birmingham Metropole Hotel following the Association's annual conference and saw Co-op and Oldham win the Local Authority Partnership Award.
