Dr Church spoke to letsrecycle.com in the wake of Prime Minister Theresa May’s speech outlining the UK’s ‘objectives’ for negotiations, discussing the need for ‘policy certainty’ and direction from government on issues relating to waste and recycling.
In the interview, Dr Church, who took over at the helm of CIWM in November 2016, also touched on ongoing negotiations over the EU’s Circular Economy package, Brexit and Defra’s anticipated 25-year environmental plan.
