Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke appointed chief financial officer of Suez

Suez has announced Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke as chief financial officer and member of the executive committee.

The company has said that since 1984, Ms Wantz-O’Rourke has held various CFO positions at SIEMENS across Australia, Germany, France, and Belgium.

In 2012, she transitioned to ENGIE, where she served as group action plan and performance director until 2016. Following her term there she joined AKKA Technologies as executive vice president operations & performance.

Kathleen Wantz-O’Rourke said: “I am very excited to be joining SUEZ, a long-standing player in water and waste management with a committed shareholder base, recognized for its skills, sense of innovation and quality of service to local stakeholders through sustainable solutions for future generations. IEG names new managing director

US based Impact Environmental Group (IEG) has revealed that it has appointed David Williams as its new managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and and Pete Dickson as commercial director.

IEG was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Elgin, Illinois with facilities located across the US and Europe. The company provides new and replacement products for waste containers collection and compaction equipment, and waste transportation equipment.

Its brands in the UK include Capital Compactors, Duraflex, Taylor, and UKCM.

Mr. Joe Stodola, chief operating officer of IEG, said: “As we continue to evolve and strive for excellence, it is my pleasure to welcome David Williams to the helm of our EMEA operations. Mr. Williams is a seasoned leader with a remarkable track record in our industry.

Electric recycler appoints new managing director

Optimum Eco Group, an electronic recycling company, has announced the appointment of Jim McNulty as managing director.

Mr McNulty will be taking over the role from company founder Bruce McLean, who is stepping down after 23 years.

The Optimum Eco Group includes CCL (North), an IT & WEEE recycling business focussing in secure data destruction, and Restructa, specialists in refurbishing and recycling TVs, computer monitors and display products.

The organisation said Mr McNulty joined Restructa in 2006 and has over 30 years’ experience in a career working in the recycling sector.

Jim McNulty said: “I’m delighted to be taking on this new role and I look forward to growing CCL (North), Restructa and the whole Optimum Eco group. As well as continued expansion we’re looking to introduce new innovations and initiatives within the group, continuing our transition to net zero, and developing our business strategy to stay at the top of the industry.”
