Brightwaste appoints head of operations
Linda Stewart has been appointed head of operations for Scottish office recycling and waste management company Brightwaste, which launched in February 2017.

Ms Stewart has previously worked at the commercial cleaning group Spotless Commercial Cleaning Ltd, which has launched the Brightwaste brand.
She joined the commercial cleaning company in 1994, and rose to a senior management position responsible for a portfolio of clients worth over £500,000. Roger Green, chief executive of Brightwaste and founder of Spotless, said: “Linda came up with the idea of setting up a separate recycling and waste collection company about five years ago. The timing wasn’t right but as time progressed it became clear that it was a new ‘added value’ service that we could offer existing customers of our commercial cleaning company Spotless as well as help us win new ones.”
Commenting on her new role, Ms Stewart said: “Brightwaste offers a new service designed specifically for city centre offices. We provide a total waste management solution; helping our customers segregate at source, recycle and reduce the costs of disposal by offering a collection service that picks up directly from their office at a time that is convenient for them.”
