LARAC Scotland Conference 2026 – 10 June 2026
The 2026 LARAC Scotland Conference is now open for registration. Taking place on Wednesday 10th June at the Scottish Events Campus, Glasgow, this is the essential annual gathering for Scotland’s local authority waste and recycling professionals – a full day of policy updates, expert-led sessions and real-world case studies.
This year’s programme tackles the issues at the top of the agenda for Scottish local authorities, with sessions covering the Circular Economy (Scotland) Act, the future of DRS, ETS, pEPR award calculations, lithium battery and bin fire safety, and recycling difficult plastics. Confirmed speakers include Hollie Whitfield, Senior Policy Manager at the Scottish Government, John Cordall (WRM), Simon Glenn and Tim Reid (Gather/Natural Capital Analysis), Steven Burns (Reventas) and Material Focus, with more to be announced.
