Former Pennon Group CEO Susan Davy to lead First Mile

First Mile Group has announced the appointment of Susan Davy as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Davy joins the company following 18 months of growth, including its acquisition by Warren Equity Partners in December 2024 and a series of strategic expansions throughout 2025.
Davy served as CEO of Pennon Group for five years and was Chief Financial Officer since 2015.
She will now lead First Mile through its next phase of development.
She said: “I’m delighted to be joining the First Mile Group at such an exciting time. There’s a fantastic platform, great people, and a real opportunity ahead.”
Founder Bruce Bratley will remain involved in a strategic role.
He added: “Susan brings a wealth of experience, and I’m looking forward to working closely with her as we continue to scale the business.”
Ecosurety appoints new Chief Product and Technology Officer

Ecosurety has appointed Sally Foote as its new Chief Product and Technology Officer.
Foote joins with a strong background in building and scaling digital products, having previously held senior roles at Carwow and Go.Compare.
Foote commented: “I am delighted to join the Ecosurety team and help use technology and data to tackle the growing challenge of packaging waste.”
According to Ecosurety, her appointment comes as the packaging sector faces increasing regulatory complexity and rising costs, driving demand for high-quality data and insights.
Foote will lead the development of Ecosurety’s product suite to support businesses navigating these challenges.
CEO Will Ghali added: “Sally’s experience in building and scaling data-led digital products makes her a perfect fit for Ecosurety and for the next phase of our growth.”
FAUN-Zoeller UK’s Rob Yates promoted to National Business Manager

FAUN-Zoeller UK has promoted Rob Yates to the role of National Business Manager, expanding his responsibilities to oversee commercial development across the UK.
Yates steps up from his previous position as Regional Business Manager, bringing with him strong market insight gained through close customer engagement and operational experience.
In his new role, Yates will lead national growth initiatives and strengthen customer relationships across the business.
He said: “I’m delighted to be stepping into this position at such a dynamic time for FZUK. I’m looking forward to building on that foundation and working with the team to deliver even greater value for our customers nationally.”
Commercial Director Ben Lord welcomed the promotion, describing Yates as “thoroughly deserving” and expressing confidence he will make a significant impact at a national level.
Estelle Hlustik-Smith steps into Assistant Director position
Estelle Hlustik-Smith has been promoted to Assistant Director for Devolution and Circular Economy at Local Partnerships.
She has almost three years with the organisation as Project Manager.
Prior to joining Local Partnerships, Hlustik-Smith worked at Cambridgeshire County Council.
In her new position, Hlustik-Smith will continue to work with public sector clients to advance circular economy initiatives and support the transition to more sustainable systems.
In a LinkedIn post, Hlustik-Smith shared: “I am excited to share that I’ve recently started a new role.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to work alongside brilliant colleagues and clients to drive forward the transition to more circular economies.
“It has been so rewarding to work in a sector where a shared ambition for a more resilient and sustainable future is delivering tangible changes on the ground (or in the bins!).”
