The order comprises 30 skip loaders, 18 hook loaders and nine trailers, all of which will be integrated into Biffa’s nationwide operations.

The investment is expected to support the waste management company’s aims to reduce waste and increase recycling rates.

Biffa manages around 15,000 tonnes of waste every day.

‘Continuing this strong relationship’

This deal marked the latest phase in a partnership between the two companies that spans several decades.

Darren Judd, Biffa’s Head of Fleet Development, recently visited Boughton’s fabrication facility in Devon.

He commented: “It was great to recently visit Boughton’s fabrication facility in Devon and witness firsthand the exceptional craftsmanship that defines their manufacturing excellence.

“Boughton’s vehicles are renowned for their quality and reliability, which are crucial in helping us deliver the high standards of service our customers expect.

“We are pleased to be continuing this strong relationship.”
