Five commercial AD plants win government funding

Environment Secretary Hilary Benn has today (June 8) announced five projects which are to receive government grants to create energy from organic waste using anaerobic digestion technology.

Biocycle South Shropshire, which operates the Ludlow Greenfinch AD facility previously supported under the Defra New Technologies Demonstrator Programme, is one of the companies to win funding under the latest Demonstrator Programme
