The 10th edition of the campaign ran from 21 March to 6 April 2025.
Over 342,000 volunteers took part in the effort to remove bags of rubbish from streets, parks and beaches.
Keep Britain Tidy’s chief executive, Allison Ogden-Newton OBE, said: “Thanks to people power we are celebrating the 10th anniversary year of the Great British Spring Clean and it’s clear that the impact has been huge.
“These impressive figures prove that when we take simple actions to show our love for where we live, we become part of a collective of like-minded people with an unstoppable drive to protect the environment.
“We are truly in awe of the efforts of our supporters and volunteers across communities, schools, voluntary organisations, businesses and local authorities.”
Keep Britain Tidy said that many “ancient and bizarre” treasures were found, including a retro mannequin and drink cans dating back 40 years.
Alongside the Spring Clean, 265,984 pupils in schools across the country participated in the Great Big School Clean.
