Join this hour-long webinar and take part in a debate about the UK’s residual waste infrastructure. Hear from Jacob Hayler, Executive Director at the Environment Services Association, Adrian Judge, Director at Tolvik Consulting and Stuart Hayward-Higham, Technical Development Director at SUEZ.

Stuart will talk you thought SUEZ’s latest report, Mind the Gap 2017-2030, explaining why SUEZ decided to write the report and revise its previous forecasts. He will discuss why this is a regional, and not just national issue and why the research has been so clearly driven by economic factors. Stuart will present the roles that landfill, RDF and SRF play in the waste management system, the future potential impacts of Brexit and overseas capacity concerns.

Jacob will discuss why it is important for industry and government to address the issues of infrastructure capacity. He will present what the ESA has seen in the way of agreement between various models created to forecast this issue, and why they are working with Tolvik Consulting. He will also give insight into what input the ESA hopes to get from the government.

Finally, Adrian will give an overview of the work he is doing with the ESA, explaining why feedstock is such an important issue to the investors that Tolvik advises. He will also explain how they work against existing policy and economics when looking at project risk for their investors.
