The Awards for Excellence in Recycling & Waste Management return in 2027, celebrating the people, projects, partnerships and organisations making an outstanding contribution to the UK’s recycling, waste and resources sector.
Bringing together more than 1,000 professionals from across the industry, the Awards are one of the biggest dates in the sector calendar and a chance to recognise the achievements, innovation and commitment driving progress across the country.
Entries for 2027 are now open.
With 25 categories spanning local authorities, waste management businesses, circular economy initiatives, technology, partnerships, frontline teams, community impact and rising talent, there are opportunities for organisations and individuals from across the sector to put their work forward.
Every category is free to enter, with submissions assessed by an independent panel of senior industry judges. Whether you have delivered measurable environmental improvements, introduced an innovative new approach, transformed a service or have a team whose achievements deserve wider recognition, the Awards provide a national platform to showcase that work.
Finalists and winners will be celebrated at the 2027 ceremony at JW Marriott Grosvenor House, London, on 26 May.
