Letsrecycle Live opened its doors this morning at the NAEC at Stoneleigh Park, with thousands of visitors expected to attend over the two days. And, the sun is out after a wet previous day for the show build-up.
Running today and tomorrow (15-16 September) the second edition of Letsrecycle Live offers visitors a packed conference schedule, live demos of some of the latest recycling vehicles and kit and unrivalled networking opportunities. More than 200 exhibitors are also taking part in the event.
The show is free to attend, and you can still register to attend the show by signing up at letsrecycle.live or checking in at the venue’s front desk.

Conference
The conference programme is split between three theatres: The Keynote Theatre, the Materials Village Theatre, sponsored by Wastepack and the Local Authority Theatre.
There is also a fourth theatre for the Demolition Expo, which is being held concurrently.
The Keynote Conference Theatre will tackle the key issues impacting the sector today and in the future and it’s programme can be found here.
In the Materials Village, there will be a chance to hear experts deep dive into the issues affecting different material streams including. With sessions curated by the different associations, in the interest of tackling the most pertinent topics for organisations operating in that space.

Meanwhile, the Local Authority Theatre is where you can hear the latest information and developments in topics related to municipal waste collection. With two full days of content, the agenda tackles key topics along with key niche subjects that are not normally discussed in more focussed events.

Live
The Live element of the show will enable visitors to see a range of live demonstrations of vehicles and equipment. You can plan your day here.
Hygiene
With Letsrecycle Live being the first major event in the sector since the pandemic, the team has taken precautions to ensure visitors feel safe.
Letsrecycle Live will be organised in line with the All Secure Standard.
The purpose of these guidelines, set out by the Association of Event Organisers (AEO), Association of Event Venues (AEV), Events Supplier and Services Association (ESSA) and its stakeholders, is to provide a framework of support and assessments to ensure a safe return to live events. All work has been approved by UK government.
The guidance sets out to achieve common standards of health, safety and operational planning, management and on-site conduct for the events industry.
