Today, after discussions with its lawyers, Entrust said that it had decided to hold an investigation into events leading up to the charge of “contempt of Parliament” and associated and subsequent issues.
The statements says: “At this stage Entrust does not know how long the investigation will take, but will cosnider any recommendations made in due course.”
But, Entrust is refusing to make any further comment on the subject. The organisation is keeping secret the full scope of the investigation and is also not saying who will carry it out.
The statement, published today with a March 28 date, says: “Entrust does not propose to make any further statement at this time.”
