The ‘enwis)’ software enables businesses to reduce the number of software systems they have down to a single programme, according to Tegos UK.

In a statement, Tegos GmbH of Dortmund said it had acquired the distribution rights and customer contracts of the enwis software from IT solutions firm Prodware SA.
The UK branch of Tegos is based in Manchester and will now be directly providing the enwis Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to UK and Ireland customers and the Netherlands, Belgium and France.
Customers
Operations in these countries will be led by Tegos UK’s managing directors Jason Fazackerley and Brian Weatherill.
Mr Weatherill, who previously worked for Prodware in the UK, said: “From finance to weighbridge, people may have 26 systems and we can replace that with our one system.
“enwis is based on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, which has more than 1 million users worldwide. In this sector, enwis is used by large waste management companies, including Grundon and Biffa, as well as recyclers in metals, plastics and paper.”
The company said it wants to ensure a ‘smooth transition’ of existing customers and to begin helping its customers grow their business.
Mr Weatherill added: “We work across the whole of the industry so there is a lot of potential, especially in Europe where we are looking to grow significantly.”
Microsoft
Launched in 1996 by Tegos GmbH, the enwis software was developed using Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP.
Tegos GmbH managing director Ralf Linnemann, said: “Our first priority will be a 100% focus on customer satisfaction, both in the transition from Prodware to Tegos, and in future to ensure that our customers are set up for success.
“We already have excellent business relationships with many enwis customers and will be working with them this year to ensure the change of ownership is only of benefit to their businesses.”
