New name builds on launch success

“letsrecycle.com Live!” is the new name for the recycling and waste management event that made its debut at the National Agricultural Centre in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, in March this year.

The two-day event returns to Stoneleigh on 5-6 April 2006, with the new name to reflect its parentage and a more dynamic format to build on last year’s success.

Founding editor of the market-leading website that now attracts 153,000 page views each month and 3,000 visitors a day, Steve Eminton, has played a major role in putting together the seminar programme that last year played to packed audiences.

Stoneleigh's National Agricultural Centre will once again play host to important recycling and waste information seminars at letsrecycle.com Live

This year’s show will have an overriding theme of ‘recycling and waste management in action’, with themed ‘communities’ covering specific subject areas, each supported by seminars and live demonstrations. In addition to industry-wide legislative issues, letsrecycle.com Live! will focus on materials (plastics, packaging and composting); product recycling (end-of-life vehicles, batteries and WEEE); and collection and materials handling (including health and safety).

Announcing the new name, show director Steve Dickinson said: “The number of confirmed exhibitors for next year already exceeds those who booked for 2005. Among those who have already confirmed their participation are Agrivert, Biffa Waste Services, CIWM, Exel Environmental Compliance, JCB and Shanks Waste Solutions.

“Many exhibitors are attracted by the state-of-the-art centrally located venue, others by the affordable price and timing. letsrecycle.com Live! gives exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their products and services early in the industry calendar, which is an added bonus,” he adds.
