Reconomy US expansion continues with industrial waste acquisition

Headquartered in Hanover, Maryland, Integrated Waste Analysts is a waste management and recycling solutions provider providing services for industrial waste, equipment rental and commodity management companies.

Founded in 1996, the company works with clients including Tesla, Lansing Building Products, Parts Authority and Freedom Forever.

Seventh US acquisition

Reconomy’s North American growth began with the acquisition of Lincoln Waste Solutions in August 2024, which acts at the centre of Reconomy’s US strategy. It services hundreds of major retail and Fortune 500 clients.

Since then, the company has sought to establish a significant presence across the US, following a period of expansion in the UK and Europe.

The country produces 10 times more waste than the UK but is reported to have mostly linear resource chains, low recycling rates and an over-reliance on landfill and incineration.

Following the recent acquisition of National Waste Associates, Reconomy’s latest deal adds further scale and capability to its growing US platform. Earlier this year, the company also completed the acquisitions of American Outsourced Waste and Recycling (AOWR), Complete Solutions and Sourcing, and Waste Focus.
