Each of illustrator David Banks cartoons is linked to a topical waste and recycling news story published by the editorial team on letsrecycle.com, and takes a humorous look at the recycling industry.

A new cartoon will be uploaded to the site daily, which visitors can see by scrolling down to the foot of the letsrecycle.com home page.

Running on the site since April 15, recent cartoons have taken an amusing slant on the introduction of the Scottish landfill tax bill (Were exempt because this site has been reserved Donald Trump!) and poked fun at the Daily Mail after its great recycling con trick article (I hope youd be disposing of that toxic waste responsibly!).

An Archive of the all the cartoons published on letsrecycle.com so far is available here.

Ambition

David Banks, who lives with his wife and two daughters in Colchester, lists his main hobbies as bull-baiting, paragliding and flower arranging and his favourite soft drink as lager. He says that his ambition is to become a radio cartoonist.

Juliet Perrett, marketing and PR manager at Worsley Plant, said: We are really pleased with the cartoon it is funny and informative and we hope it will become a regular read for site visitors. It will also allow the Worsley Plant brand to be seen by a wide range of readers.

Steve Eminton, editor of letsrecycle.com, said: Its important to for us to maintain a good balance of information to keep things fresh and interesting, and we hope our readers enjoy Davids daily cartoons, which provide a light, irreverent take on news in the industry.
