Fixed Term Contract for 12 months

We have a new exciting job opportunity at the Reuse Network for someone with excellent technical and writing/communications skills and experience who is passionate about supporting marginalised communities across the UK, increasing employment opportunities, and benefitting the environment through reducing waste and CO2 emissions.

The role of Technical Policy Research Officer is required to create an online guide for reuse operators on how to run a successful, professional and fully compliant electrical and electronic equipment repair and testing service to suppliers, contractors and customers. This will offer assurance to partners that products and services supplied by reusers meet product and service requirements and compliance with all relevant regulations.

This is a 1 year fixed term contract and a salary of up to £30,000 to publish guidance to help reuse operators meet reuse standards and offer consistency of reuse practices.  To develop and set the most comprehensive and up-to-date guidance to standards for electrical equipment reuse.

The guidance will be concise and offer comprehensive advice and direction to ensure that Reusers are professional and efficient and able to increase the social, economic and environmental impacts of WEEE and EEE Reuse across the UK
