The future of recycling in London is at a crossroads. Government-published data shows that the recycling rate in the capital has fallen for the first time in years, and while waste arisings are down in a lot of areas, some of London’s boroughs now sit at the bottom of the recycling table in England. This year’s London Conference will look at the challenges and opportunities involved in meeting a 50% recycling rate by 2020.
