The National Recycling Stars scheme launched for UK Organisations
The National Recycling Stars scheme recognises UK organisations that are committed to increasing the amount of waste they recycle and improving the environmental awareness of their staff. Organisations can be awarded up to three stars depending on their level of excellence and in order to ensure that this is sustained Stars are reviewed on an annual basis. Star holders will be provided with a certificate, annual newsletter and entry on to the Recycling Stars website to enable like minded organisations to work together. There will also be an annual award for the Shining Star of the Year. The scheme is brought to you by letsrecycle.com and supported by Shanks Waste Solutions.
