Looking at the waste prices on this site can anyone tell me if they are getting these types of prices for the material? As I want to get the same types of prices.

How much tonnage do you have of each of the items? If you've got lots of it then you should get at least close to the prices. If you've hardly got any then you won't.

It depends largely on quality of material, quantity and supply. Prices will vary from processsor,so shop around. Also bear in mind that many of the prices quoted are based on set volumes delivered in. Good luck

Hello Paul Are you baling your card and plastics? What type of plastics is it film? If so what size are your bales and how many. Can you fill an arctic? Is this likely to be a regular collection? I work for a Leicester based recycling company, we pay rebates but only for volume.

I don't know what exactly you do but to get the good (best on offer) rates for ALL those materials you must need a waste transfer site. You need to make money on the collection of the materials rather than the selling of them yourself! Use the prices you get for the materials as a general profit booster but they are not to be relied on on profit terms.

Absolutely. In your business model you should price 0 for plastics, maybe a tenner for paper/card and no more than 150 for metals. Relying on high material prices will not result in a sucessful business.
